Four Questions and a Turn Around - until you have this exercise memorized it's best to write down your answers.
 

  • What negative statement(s) am I saying about myself?
     

    1. Is it true?
       
    2. Am I absolutely, positively 100% sure it's always true?
       
    3. How do I feel when I have this thought(s)?
       
    4. How would I feel if I did NOT have this thought(s)?
       
  • Turn it around...what positive statement(s) gives me those feelings?   Focus on that instead!
